Easy to install and simple instructions to operate the unit. Drop the humidity in my garage to 40% very quickly.
Our $1200 Santa Fe bit the dust after 8 years and looking for a replacement found this equipment. It’s doing the job well. Don’t know how long it’s going to last. Hopefully the 5 year warranty. Just wish it came with a spare filter to change out. Love that you can wash the filter and reuse.
We have a cemented dry crawl space but when the humidity goes up in the summer the smell of mildew creeps into our house. We put this dehumidifier on a dolly and hooked the water line into our waste line. Plumber came and basically put a clip on the edge of the waste pipe and inserted the hose, which in hindsight we could have done without out a $130.00 fee. Made such a huge difference. We went with the 2500 sq ft model (probably could have purchased the 1600 model) but it is working very very well. Would recommend this unit. Customer Svc was very helpful in deciding what would work best for us. Thank you Argendon.
We’ve had this unit in our crawlspace for about 6 months and it’ has Ben doing its job to bring the humidity down. It’s quiet and it’s pumping the moisture out of that crawlspace. Definitely recommend.
I've only been using the unit for a few weeks but so far I'm quite pleased with it. It's very quiet (of course, it's still new) and it keeps my crawlspace humidity at a constant level which I regularly monitor with their remote control that I also purchased. I suspect that I'll get a bit of a shock when I get my first utility bill since installing it, but I guess that's to be expected.
