So far so good. The unit has achieved reduction of humidity in our damp basement and is holding it there without issue. The filter is easy to clean and the unit appears to be well built. I hope it lasts as I have had so many problems with small humidifiers in the past. Also, the unit is not as quiet as was advertised by other reviewers but it is in our basement that we only use for storage so not a big deal for us.
We’ve had it for a month and it works great.
Most of these type systems are expensive. This one deliveres the results you need at a reasonable price. They should consider selling a platform for the unit. Maybe they do and I missed it. Gravity drain doesnt work great for crawlspaces where the vents are above the ground. We strapped the bad boy to a joist. Best to run a dedicated GFCI to the unit. Good machine at a good price.
This dehumidifier has worked great and exceeded my expectations so far.
